Evaluation of Nature Investments

Location: Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Myanmar

Working together with Terranomics, Sustain Value investigated nature based solution business models in SE Asia for a Family Office. The aim was to help them explore the possible development of a Nature Venture Builder that could best support investments that have a positive nature impact. The study involved a literature review, expert interviews and analysis of opportunities. Sustain Value’s remit covered habitat restoration, blue carbon, sustainable marine resources (e.g. aquaculture and seaweed farming), ecotourism, protected areas and supply chain technology.
